The Last Voyage of the Demeter is a slow-burn horror film that builds tension and suspense gradually. The film does an excellent job of creating a creepy atmosphere, and the performances from the cast are all top-notch. Hawkins is particularly good as the ship’s doctor, who is the only one who seems to suspect that something is wrong.

The film is not without its flaws. The pacing can be a bit slow at times, and the film’s reliance on jump scares can be a bit predictable. However, overall, The Last Voyage of the Demeter is a well-made horror film that is sure to please fans of the genre.
