Sandra Bullock’s longtime partner, Bryan Randall, has died at the age of 57 after a private three-year battle with ALS.

Randall, a photographer and former model, was first diagnosed with ALS in 2020. He kept his diagnosis private and chose to focus on his treatment and spending time with his loved ones.
In a statement to PEOPLE, Bullock said, “Bryan was a kind and loving soul who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His battle with ALS was long and difficult, but he faced it with great courage and determination. I will be forever grateful for the love and support he gave me and my family.”

Randall and Bullock began dating in 2015 and had been together for eight years. They co-parented two children together, Louis and Laila.
