Country music star Kelsea Ballerini is opening up about her journey of moving on from her divorce, finding joy, and discovering herself. In a new interview with People magazine, Ballerini shared that she has been through a lot in the past few years, but she is finally in a good place.

“I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs,” Ballerini said. “But I’m finally in a place where I’m really happy and I’m really excited about the future.”
Ballerini’s divorce from former NFL player Morgan Evans was finalized in February 2022. The couple had been married for four years. Ballerini said that the divorce was a difficult time for her, but it also helped her to grow as a person.
“It was a really tough year,” Ballerini said. “But it also made me stronger and it made me realize what I really want out of life.”
Ballerini said that she is now focused on her music and her career. She recently released her new EP, “Heartfirst,” which she said is a reflection of her journey of moving on and finding joy.

“This EP is about finding joy in the everyday moments,” Ballerini said. “It’s about finding happiness in the little things.”

“I’m just trying to be me,” Ballerini said. “And I think that’s the most important thing.”
