Ramsey was injured in Miami’s practice earlier in the day. He collided with wide receiver Tyreek Hill during a drill, and his knee buckled. He was carted off the field and taken to the hospital for an MRI.
The MRI revealed that Ramsey had a meniscus tear. He will undergo surgery on Friday, and the recovery time is typically 6-8 weeks.
Ramsey’s injury is a significant blow to the Dolphins’ defense. He is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, and he was expected to be a key part of Miami’s secondary this season.

The Dolphins now have to make some adjustments to their defense. They could move Xavien Howard to the slot cornerback position, and they could also bring in another cornerback to help fill the void.
Ramsey’s injury is also a setback for his own career. He is entering his eighth season in the NFL, and he is still one of the best players at his position. He is a two-time All-Pro and a five-time Pro Bowl selection.

Ramsey is expected to be back in time for the playoffs, but his absence will be felt by the Dolphins in the early part of the season. They have a tough schedule to start the year, and they will need all hands on deck if they want to make a run at the playoffs.
