Former Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman is never one to shy away from a bold prediction. In a recent interview with Dan Patrick, Rodman said that his 1990s Bulls team would “easily” beat the LeBron James-led Miami Heat in a hypothetical matchup.

“The Heat have the better talent than we had,” Rodman said. “But we have smarter players. That’s the only thing we have, smarter players. But guess what? When matching with the Heat, that’s easy.”
Rodman went on to say that he would “take Bosh out of his damn game easy.” He also said that Scottie Pippen would “guard LeBron easy” and that Michael Jordan would “average 40 in this era.”

The 1990s Bulls were one of the most dominant teams in NBA history. They won three consecutive championships from 1991 to 1993, and they went to the Finals four times in a row. The Heat, on the other hand, won two championships in four Finals appearances from 2011 to 2013.
It’s impossible to say for sure who would win in a matchup between the two teams. However, Rodman’s comments suggest that he believes the Bulls would have a significant advantage.
“It would be a no-contest,” Rodman said. “I’m not even joking.”
