Angus Cloud, Star of HBO’s ‘Euphoria,’ Dies at 25

Cloud was born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1998. He began his acting career in 2019, when he was cast as Fezco in “Euphoria.” The show, which follows a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, and relationships, quickly became a critical and commercial success. Cloud’s performance as Fezco, a drug dealer who befriends the show’s protagonist, Rue, was praised by critics and audiences alike.

In addition to his role on “Euphoria,” Cloud also appeared in the film “Bodies Bodies Bodies” in 2022. He was reportedly working on several other projects at the time of his death.

Cloud’s death has been met with an outpouring of grief from fans and colleagues. “Angus was a brilliant actor and a kind and gentle soul,” said “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson. “He will be deeply missed.”

A private funeral service will be held for Cloud. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
