Adipurush Director Om Raut Gives Goodbye Kiss to Kriti Sanon Inside Tirupati Temple Premises, Gets Criticised

Tirupati, June 8: Director Om Raut and actress Kriti Sanon have landed in hot water after they were seen kissing goodbye outside the Tirupati temple premises on June 7. The two were in the city to release the trailer of their upcoming film, Adipurush.
A video of the incident went viral on social media, with many people criticizing Raut and Sanon for their actions. Some people called them disrespectful to the temple and its deity, while others said that their behavior was inappropriate in a public place.
Raut has since apologized for the incident, saying that he was “overwhelmed” by the experience of visiting the temple and that he “got carried away.” Sanon has also apologized, saying that she “did not mean to cause any offense.”

The incident has sparked a debate about public displays of affection in India. Some people believe that such displays are inappropriate in any setting, while others believe that they are acceptable in certain contexts, such as between married couples.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which manages the temple, has not yet commented on the incident.
