A new trailer has been released for Netflix’s upcoming film “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah,” starring Adam Sandler and his daughters Sunny and Sadie. The film is an adaptation of Fiona Rosenbloom’s coming-of-age novel of the same name, and follows Stacy Friedman (Sunny Sandler), a 13-year-old girl who is preparing for her bat mitzvah. Stacy is busy planning the perfect party, but her plans are derailed when her best friend, Lydia Katz (Sadie Sandler), steals her crush, Andy Goldfarb (Dylan Dash).

The trailer gives us a glimpse of the ups and downs of middle school life, as well as the importance of friendship and family. We see Stacy struggling to deal with her newfound popularity, as well as the heartbreak of losing her best friend. But we also see her finding strength in her family and community, and learning to overcome the challenges she faces.
In addition to Adam and Sadie Sandler, the film also stars Idina Menzel as Stacy’s mother, Luis Guzmán as her father, and Sarah Sherman as her bat mitzvah planner. The film is directed by Sammi Cohen, who previously directed the coming-of-age comedy “Crush.”
